The aim of the WASA Shaheedee Tournament and with its partner, the Khalsa Football Federation, is to promote young asians into the sport of football, who will hopefully progress into professional football leagues and inspire further youngsters. With scouts from all over the region attending now is your chace to shine.
As in 2006 we have a mini Hockey tournament, which will be taking place on Saturday the 24th of May on the astro turf; a volleyball show match; Tug o' war and Shot Putting competitions.
We would like to offer a warm welcome to all competitors and supporters alike, and that they respect the tournament rules.
We would also like to say a special thank you to you all who have spent their time and effort with organising WASA 2008 Shaheedee Tournament.
We are also grateful to our sponsors for all their financial support, to our local Guru Nanak Gurdwara, Caldmore, Walsall for providing Langar for all and our dedicated team of stewards.
If it were not for the support of the community the WASA tournament probably wouldnt be the best tournament in the country!!
