Vows Awards Winner (Voted the Best in Scotland) All products baked in our own state of the art bakery Special Days Cakes started out in Uddingston over 25 years ago (although owner and cake designer extraordinaire Michael Burns has been making cakes a lot longer than that: he began as a 14-year-old apprentice at Tunnocks) and the business has grown continually since then, thanks to Michael’s reputation for beautiful wedding and celebration cakes, mouth watering fillings, superb craftsmanship and first-class customer service. The new boutique-style store, at 432 Old Edinburgh Road in Uddingston, will house one of the UK’s largest displays of wedding cakes, so there’ll be no end of inspiration for brides-to-be in the quest for their tiers of joy.
