U.K.S.K.O Presentation Course 12th June 2016. The course was one of our most successful ever, with an atmosphere and spirit that had to be seen to be believed. Sensei Perry ran the course and really motivated all of those in attendance. We hope you enjoy the various videos and pictures that are to be posted shortly.

Muhammad Ali, Following the sad passing of the worlds best known and greatest sportsman Muhammad Ali it has come to light that during a week's visit to the UK he was looked after by our very own , Sensei Eugene Codrington.
Busen/UKSKO Easter Course 2016: Sensei Perry arrived early on the Tuesday morning to get the course running after having spent the Easter weekend at the International Budo Council course where he was working with some of the highest graded martial artists in Europe. Shelley did her usual and made it look easy signing everyone in and supporting them all throughout the course. The chief instructor on the course was Sensei Perry and he was assisted by so many senior grades, that those students training were able to share a huge pool of knowledge. A big thank you to all the Sensei's, but a special thank you to Sensei Ian Alden 7th Dan, Sensei's Sue & Allan Spillard 6th Dan, for their fantastic support and enthusiasm. The highlights of the course were the Easter egg hunt that is always a lot of fun and also the black belts gradings, especially the 2nd and 3rd dans. The level of Kumite (fighting) and Kata had to be seen to be believed and the results of those who were successful are as follows: Blackbelt - Shodan(1st Dan) Nissan Kotic Ilas Kotic Aiden Snook Grace Hodgson-Scott David Wright Katie Cox Charlotte Newton Charlotte Whiteman Kieran Meah Hickory Shuttleworth Mia Peters Samuel Harwood-White Edward Andrews Darious Hodivala Jessica Cohen Jacob Cohen Athena Browning Gabriela Davies Henry Teague Chris Ford Benjamin Hodgson-Scott Joshua Poole Mark Garcia Castillo Lucas Hanson-Puffer James Purser Samuel Collet Daniel Stewart Brendon Snook Olivia Martin Hollie Stapleton-Parslow Alasdair Jennings 2nd Dan - Nidan Emily Rogers Christine Davis Bernard Davis Simon Sapstead Annie Kate Irwin 3rd Dan - Sandan T Farrance Dylan Du Buitiar Antonio Sakim Sue Hawker Siobhan Scott Rachael Hoave Jack Holdbrook Alex Clarke Kieran Haldane Because so many students are training so hard and working with the best of the best instructors the association continues to go from strength to strength. Well done to all of you who completed the course and those who were promoted. We look forward to seeing you all on the summer course in July. OSU!
