Myself and fellow acupuncturist Paul Morris will be holding an ear acupuncture clinic to help assist those struggling with sleep, stress, anxiety and/or other emotional and psychological issues. Sessions will be from 12-1 pm every Wednesday beginning May 10th. The NADA protocol, a specified sequence of ear acupuncture points, has shown to have profound effects in treatng sleep disruptions, while also calming the spirit and relaxing anxious and busy minds. With the ear representing a microcosm of the body, the combined points serve to balance the body's energy and assist with its natural healing process. This will be a quiet nonverbal group setting, where a shared meditative experience also has shown to enhance results. As someone who has personally attended NADA sessions, both as a participant and practitioner, I can confirm it can be a powerful and transformative experience. Paul and I are delighted and humbled to hold such a space for those interested. Though drop in sessions are offered, we do recommend a series of four sessions in order to experience optimum changes. Sessions will be held at the new tranquil space Upstairs at Six on Western road, where you can enjoy a fresh organic juice or smoothie from their downstairs juice bar following treatment.
