Congratulations to Jared who made it 3-in-a-row County Men's Championships this weekend at Truro HQ. The final was the best seen for many years with breathtaking rallying between both Jared and Dale, and there didn't really deserve to be a loser such was the quality of the squash. Tom retained his Plate Winner title for the second year by beating fellow TR2 player Harry. Katrina (Falmouth) outgunned her younger opponents in the Ladies' Championships to become County Champ for the first time. All done and dusted it was a vintage year in a competition that now spans 84 years......

Big weekends don't get bigger than this weekend 21st/22nd January. It's the 2017 Cornwall Closed Squash Championships @ Truro S&RC when the great and the good of our beautiful sport meet at HQ. Some first round matches may take place on Friday evening so check the draw on www.cornwallsquash.co.uk. Play from 10.30 Saturday morning with semis and finals on Sunday. Presentatiopns and buffet to follow......ALL WELCOME!

Truro S&RC's Christmas dinner night organised by hostess with the mostess Clare. A three course meal, a challenging seasonal quiz and a near impossible game won by 'Bendy Wendy' Rosie. Tis the season to be jolly.....
The Clubs Christmas Raffle will be drawn on the 16th December! Make sure you have your tickets sorted before as there are some great prizes on offer!!
This Saturday is the Clubs Christmas meal, starting at 7pm. There are a couple of tickets left if you would like to come along, please contact Claire Penton as soon as possible!
