Description

Est. 2008, our fair trade shop (2009-2015) was a prime outlet for clothing and handicrafts direct from India.

We now operate primarily online. Now operating from our warehouse/office space and various events throughout the year, at Pilgrims we sell a wide range of chilled out festival clothing, handicrafts, a large range of incense, bed throws, wall hangings, cushion covers, henna, bangles, plus so much more.

We pride ourselves on our customer service which is why we have many regular customers and new customers from recommendations. We were nominated for the Trowbridge Chamber of Commerce 2013 Service Excellence Awards and were finalists, losing to Timpsons (who have over 1000 shops!).

We give away FREE shopping bags in varying sizes - unlike other stores who charge. Made from recycled materials, these are printed for us by our very good friend and colleague Ashok in the heart of New Delhi, India.

We ship WORLDWIDE!

Well, we're off India in October for our buying trip. We usually go in February but we bought SO much stock last year, we just didn't need to. We're also in the process of sorting out our new online shopping site! You can still use our current one but in around 10 days, we'll be putting together our new one with new stock, some old favourites and we'll still be giving FREE shopping bags for all orders over £10. If there's a particular item you think we should stock, let us know!

These glass bangles are everywhere in Delhi. Interesting to see how they're made. Might have to bring some back although James would say I've already got a big enough bangle collection! 😂

Just to pre-warn you, we film ourselves opening ALL returns to us and have done for a while. Thanks to the customer in Berlin that sent us dirty stained towels instead of the beautiful Nepalese shawl we sent her. Unfortunately they don't match our bathroom colours at home and you're past the 60 days in PayPal. Nice try.

PLEASE when using PayPal for transactions, please check that the money is coming from your card and not a relatives card that may be attached to that account. We are facing £14 of charges for a £2 transaction for incense after a customer inadvertently used her Mother's card through PayPal and not her own resulting in the Mother disputing the transaction. Annoying and irritating to say the least.

Alright me babbers?! :) So sorry, but for the forseeable (short term) future, we are unable to have anyone visit our warehouse. Due to it being festival season, the place is an utter state and not safe for members of the public with bags of stock everywhere and market stall bars all over the place. We hope to be back to normal very soon as we love it when people pop in. Thanks for your understanding x PS Glastonbury was great .... and DRY!!
