A gorgeous day to visit Troon today. The town has a street market on until 3pm. The beach is looking fab. Lovely shops and cafes and end your day with a visit to the fairy trail xxx

This Saturday 22nd of April from 10am the town of Troon has a street market. Have a great day visiting Troon and the market a walk along the beach or the fairy trail . What a great town we have . Visitors always made welcome and free parking throughout xx

Update . Traffic has eased slightly and we can allow a few more cars in. Please come in via the loans entrance not Isle of pin road.

FAIRY TRAIL CLOSED PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE TO THE FAIRY TRAIL! !!

CAR PARKS ARE FULL PLEASE USE ALTERNATIVE ENTRANCE AT WILSON AVENUE !!! PLEASE TRY TO AVOID COMING INTO THE WOODS! !!

Please try to park at Wilson avenue entrance. People haven't listened and turned up too early before attendants were in place. Try to avoid coming into the woods area if you can .

Due to heavy rain yesterday wellies or suitable footwear required. Please don't wear good shoes to the fairy trail. The trail follows natural woodland paths .

***visitor notice*** Please don't arrive at the fairy trail before 11am to allow the trail to be set up for Easter Monday family day. We are expecting high visitor numbers please try to walk or cycle if you are local. If driving come in via loans to Troon. After the coop shops turn 1st left and at the bottom of Wilson Ave is an alternative entrance to fullarton woods. Sat nav ka10 7Aj. Parking at the woods for around 70 cars ka10 7er, arrive via entrance at South woods. We have; Bouncy castles Face painting Meet a real fairy from 12 noon Bunny luv real animals Easter themed trail Find a golden ticket along the trail and get a large egg Ice cream van Mobile tea coffee and hot dogs Hot donuts and burgers Bring a picnic and dine with the easter bunny Entry is free all we ask is a small donation if you can xxx you only pay if you want to use bouncy castles etc. £3 face painted. Bouncy castles £2 for 15 mins play. We are unable to answer messages today please check previous posts xxx

The fairy trail is a simple concept. It brings families together, inspires children's imagination, gets children outdoors in natural woodland and best of all it works without cables, batteries or Wifi. The fairy trail will always be free, all we ask is if you can donate on our event days we can make the fairy trail better. The fullarton fairy trail is not a business it was started by 2 local mums and run with the help of volunteers. South ayrshire council are also assisting along with other groups to improve fullarton woods. Thankyou xx
