Tomorrow all the staff at Torbay Crematorium are doing a charity walk from Brixham Harbour to Torquay Harbour. Anyone is welcome to join us with all proceeds going to THHN - Torbay Holiday Helpers Network. We start at 9 from Brixham Quay.

We have just introduced our new range of Silver Memorial Jewellery. Each ring and pendant has been designed to hold a small amount of ashes and prices start from £104 for a pendant and necklace and £168 for a ring. There is a small range of items on display in our office and we have a full colour brochure available showing the whole range. Raffle tickets for our Christmas Memorial Service have now gone on sale. The fantastic first prize is a luxury hamper featuring a bottle of brandy, Yankee Candles, a bottle of Baileys, Champagne, Belgian chocolate truffles and many more items to add a sparkle to your festive season. To be in with a chance to win this and our other items tickets are available from the Crematorium office and will be on sale at the Memorial Service prior to the draw on Wednesday 14th December.

We are holding our annual Christmas Memorial Service on Wednesday 14th December 2016 at 6pm. The service will be held in conjunction with The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and there will be a raffle draw and the opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one. The raffle prizes include a luxury hamper, a bottle of champagne and chocolates and a Marks & Spencers voucher. More prizes will be added soon. We hope to see you there.

Our new Orchard Area has seen a major transformation in the last couple of weeks. The first picture was taken before the work started and the second one reflects the changes that have taken place. The area is looking much more appealing and we are looking forward to offering a wider range of memorials in the very near future.

Our recent spell of lovely weather has brought out the lovely cherry blossom in the Rose Garden and the Garden of Remembrance is awash with colour. It is wonderful to see the grounds looking so bright and welcoming.

As Bank Holiday Monday is fast approaching, this is to remind you/let you know that the opening hours for the Book of Remembrance will be the same as for a normal weekend. 9.30 am to 1pm each day. Let's hope for sunshine.
