The Torphichen Inn is a traditional village pub in the heart of West Lothian, 20 miles west of the Scottish capital, Edinburgh. We offer a full range of menus for all occasions, serving fresh locally sourced food in our Scots Grill Restaurant from Friday evening until Sunday evening each week.
The Inn has a log fire, baby grand piano, and of course The Tam O’ Shanter Murals, a unique series of paintings by The National’s cartoonist Greg Moodie.

Friday Night: Got any old records that you've not listened to in a while. Why not bring one down to the inn and listen to it on a record player. 8pm onwards.
The Inn is now open seven nights a week with regular live music. Monday to Thursday hours: 6-10pm. You know what to do.
Tomorrow night sees the return of the popular pub quiz. Starting at 7:30, teams of 2-6 entry is £2pp. This will help fundraiser for the am dram group.

Tonight at The Torph: Boorach Band, Arran's legendary karaoke and Mr. Kenny's steak pie. It's a Friday institution.
It gives me great pleasure to announce that normal service has been resumed in the Torph kitchen. I for one will be celebrating by partaking of Mr. Kenny's masterly steak pie this very eve. On Saturday it's the big Scotland Vs England Triple Crown decider on the big screen. Rugby and beer - it's a thing, you know. The bar will be open from 1pm. Tardiness is frowned upon.

What a great day yesterday for Yae Glintin Licht - thanks to everyone who came along, and to the excellent performers!
Today at the Inn from 2-7pm: Yae Glintin' Licht 7. An afternoon of traditional music along with performance poetry in memory of Billy Wolfe and to raise the profile of the island of Eilean Mor MacCormick. All welcome. Tickets £12.50 - Scottish fare meal included.
What are you doing this weekend? Why do you not join us here at the inn... We have Karaoke this Friday from 9pm. Saturday come along and watch Scotland v Wales in the six nations @ 2pm. Or if you feel like treating yourself then why not come to our steak Sunday from 1pm - 7pm have an 8oz rib eye with a glass of wine or a soft drink for £15!

Looking for something to do this Friday? Choose a band. Choose Boorach. Choose a friend. Choose Eilidh Park. Choose karaoke. This Friday sees the return of Boorach and Friends (This month Eilidh Park), starting at 8pm, followed by karaoke from 10pm onwards.

In case your long-suffering beloved hasn't reminded you yet, next Tuesday is February 14th and Mr. Kenny has a Valentine's Day special planned for all enamoured types: a three-course meal and bottle of wine for only £50 per couple. The Inn will be open from 6 till 10pm and his Kennyness is insisting on reservation only. You know what to do. Ok maybe you don't. Call 01506 652826 and book a table.
