Start here The foundations and essentials to life and living Shelter Sustenance Love Start and end every day with gratitude It's a life changer Happy Monday y'all And drive safe if you're out and about in this Baltic fog ❄️❄️❄️
I could not be prouder of a close girlfriend She has over the last few months started to make more time for her Emotionally, physically everything She's making time to make herself good food She would always give her kids the best and not worry for herself She has also started to make time for her to simply move; it hurts, she struggles but she's giving it her best and she's loving the feeling of exercise (especially the after glow!) For me, healthy lifestyle; as in making time for quality nutrition and food is not frivolous it's necessity It's good for my mental health A positive byproduct, it's good for my physical health too People who know me know I'm no angel 😇 😂 (well maybe a little hehe 😂) I drink vodka and gin and the odd champagne, I eat chocolate every day! But I like to feel well, I like to eat well - in the main -why? so I feel good I have the energy to handle life and work hard with my clients and classes and then time with friends, family and hubby! 💯❤💯 I think sometimes people are scared of the prospect; they make it bigger than it needs to be in their minds eye. You don't have to be fit to go for a walk / jog or to attend a class. You don't need to eat right 24/7. Part of the equation of success is the fact it needs to be a lifestyle of balance. Something that makes you feel good, something that fits in with your other commitments. If you've been thinking hmmmmmmm for a while Give it a go Just start Start where you are You don't need to be thinner / fitter / stronger / perfect (whatever that word / concept means to you) Just start because you love yourself enough to love and nurture you Live life Love life Laugh often Have a blessed day y'all xxx

Find your moderation in the madness!!! I work as a PT Training is my passion It's in my blood It's my happy hour I don't train for aesthetic I train because it's something that brings me joy. I'm blessed with a body that's functional and I love to test and challenge it. I also like to reap the benefits of rest and repletion; whether it's a decent stretch session or a 12 hour sleep. Rest is as important as training and nutrition. So what do I mean by find your moderation in the madness? ... Well, the last couple of days, watching the new year unfold on social media and in the gym has been kinda meh A client and friend sent me a quote that had really bothered her ... it read, "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" It got under her skin and quite frankly pissed her off! The fitness industry is not all good, in my humble opinion Too much of it is hinged on making people feel guilty January swings in with its crappy weather and maybe pinched purses and then to make matters worse we are all meant to feel bad for enjoying the excesses of December I love December as a month I love the Christmas vibe, I love the fact that people are kinder to one another, there's a good vibe in the air! 💯❤ Then January slam dunks in and we are all told to feel bad, to body shame, to deprive and punish our bodies I am a personal trainer Fitness is my gig Promoting nutritious over junk food is my game That said I don't believe that the slant taken by some fitness outlets or professionals is particularly helpful or constructive How is trying to make someone feel like crap about themselves a positive step towards them making health improvements and changes to their lifestyle?! I see the intensity and urgency and excessive duration of people's training in the gym If they're new in then this level of training is not sustainable nor advisable. Injuries, over training, depleted immune systems the list goes on. My urging moderation is not saying don't make a concerted effort after Christmas, rather its saying see it as a long haul. January is a great reset for many things but Arnie didn't build his guns in a month! Body adaptation (fat loss, lean mass gain etc) comes with consistency and from following a training routine that works for you and your lifestyle and by eating to fuel your body. You don't have to achieve it all this month! You don't have to kill yourself trying. And anything that drives you with body shaming or says you have to feel less in your body because you had a great Christmas is not something I would put my name to. My business ethos is "health and happiness" Love your body Nourish it Nurture it Challenge it Set goals But ultimately love the process Lifestyle changes, bit at a time are where it's at It's not a quick fix It is a lifestyle Find your way The way that works for you and leaves you feeling great - mentally and physically! Have a great month and remember you don't have to do it all this month! Pace yourself and get the results without injury or negative mindset 👍🏼💪🏼👌🏼💯❤😘

Make every day a good one Start and end every day with gratitude When you wake up Before you start scrolling and letting things on newsfeed or instagram or whatever social media you're into triggering something that makes you feel bad about yourself STOP! Stop that shiz Life is too short to continually feel bad about yourself Stop comparing your stuff to someone else's highlight reel Instead, use notes in your phone or a buy yourself a paper note pad that sparks stationary joy and write down at least one thing that you're grateful for It might simply be he fact you woke up! Some people don't get that Life is a blessing Start there Start small Start and end each day with gratitude Happy new year Let's make everyday a good day Set your intention Live Love Laugh ❤❤❤
Eat : Sleep : Train : Repeat Don't under eat or crash diet; you slow your metabolism - leading to yo yo weight loss and then inevitable regain Don't under sleep / rest too little; you mess your stress hormone balance up and a messed up endocrine system can lead your body to store fat (especially around your abdomen) due to hormonal imbalance driven blood sugar imbalance ... simply put get enough rest - overtraining doesn't get the best results Don't over train! Train smart not excessively. If you're tired or lack lustre in your workouts chances are your mind body connection isn't in it. You have to love the process! Focus on it. It's why I don't like to talk when I'm training!!! Consistency is the key Lifestyle not "diet" Live a life you love ❤️
