Hello members , a wee reminder that prize giving is on Saturday night in the clubhouse for 7.30 pm , all welcome , those of you who are prize winners can you let me know please if your are attending , look forward to seeing you 🏆🥈🥉

Look out ladies we will soon be seeing to new men on the course , Paul Gray and Tam McGaw I would like to wish them all the best with there new challenge, got to do it now chaps 💪🏻🍅🍇🏋️

Our senior mixed (ladies & gents) open greensomes is on Friday 1st September entries still available , it is not a senior 4bbb as advertised in the south of Scotland fixture list if you have entered for the 4bbb please ring the club on 01848 330546 and speak to Shona or Tam , look forward to seeing you all then , and the weather is looking good ☀️

Saturday the 26th August we are hosting a Charity Texas Scramble - Gents, Ladies or mixed. Teams of 4 only £40.00 per team The Charity this year is "Soldiers Off the Streets". A brilliant charity who helps military veterans, who have served their country in conflicts and whose lives have been affected by homelessness. Calling all golfers! Thornhill Golf Club has a mixed Open on Sunday 13 August and we are appealing for more entries. The course is in great shape, Tilly and Tam are on full alert in the bar and kitchen and we would love it if you can join us. As an added bonus, the weather is going to be sunny! Honest! Many congratulations to our new club champions , Linda Mckie, Ryan Cano and Gordon Moore , commiserations to Margaret Davidson, Andy Scott and Dennis White ,thankyou goes to all referees and caddies , all games were played under the spirit of the game , with good weather first half and not so good the second half , thankyou to all who turned out to lend there support 🏌🏼🏌️‍♀️

I would like to wish good luck to those that are playing in the club championship tomorrow, so members come along and support them , you never know if might be you next year 🏌🏼🏌️‍♀️

Many congratulations to all our winners from yesterday , especially to Beth Collins and Cori Lee for winning the Duncan Cup , thanks to all who gave there support for playing in not so good weather , I will post all results on our website within the next couple of days,our next open is Silkwood Cup gents senior on 9th Aug and our mixed open greensomes on 13th Aug , so don't delay get your entries in 🏌️‍♀️🏌🏼⛳️
