Lot no. 5016 Steiff Karl Lagerfield teddy bear, white tag 657726,is a limited edition of 2500 pieces. Released in 2008, he is crafted in white alpaca, white gold coated button within his ear, designed to be a likeness of the famous fashion designer, in collaboration with Karl Lagerfield, the clothes and accessories were designed in his Paris Studio and the materials were individually selected. His black jacket is of Italian wool, white poplin shirt with standing collar and trompe l'oeil look button holes, jeans with a patina from the K Karl Lagerfield collection, black silk cravat and Swarovski crystal, belt of real leather, the initials of the "maestro" are set in crystals on the buckle, tailor-made boots, miniature glasses from the "Lagerfield eyewear" line. RARE MAN FROM UNCLE PIECES In the Vectis Specialist Toy Sale on Tuesday 20th March there is a section of outstanding TV and Film related toys. Lots 2570 – 2605 include some of the most exciting James Bond and Man From Uncle pieces released. The vintage items are from the 1964 TV Series release which featured a two-man troubleshooting team working for multi-national secret intelligence agency U.N.C.L.E. (United Network Command for Law and Enforcement): American Napoleon Solo (Robert Vaughn), and Russian Illya Kuryakin (David McCallum). Leo G. Carroll played Alexander Waverly, an English head of the organization. The sale includes two collectables from Ideal the Napoleon Ideal "The Man From UNCLE" - Napoleon Solo Gun Set, this rare and hard to find ensemble includes gun, barrel extension with silencer plus other accessories, it is in excellent order within a smart presentation box and has a pre-sale estimate of £1,000 - £1,200. The second interesting item is Illya K Special Secret Lighter Gun, this scarce issue is in superb order, you would struggle to find a better one and is seated in a presentation window box. Museum Collection - Child’s Pedal Cars at Vectis Auctions on Thursday 15th March. These are wonderful! Great as an item on their own but imagine sitting a doll or bears (or collection of) in them!. Featuring in the Museum Collection on Thursday the 15th of March are three pressed steel child’s pedal cars. Two are in the shape of a vintage car and the third is a fire department car with rear hose wheel and wooden ladders. There is a tinplate “Gas Station” for those all-important fuel stops, the green and yellow petrol pump has delivery holes and nozzle, for use with pedal cars.
