Hello!  I’m Ann, an experienced chef who loves to bake, and after retiring I decided to create a unique and secret tearoom in our own private home.  The Secret Teapot is no ordinary tearoom and our exact location in the charming market town of Thame in Oxfordshire remains a secret until guests confirm their booking.  Shhh.... we are Thame’s best kept secret!

Every Saturday we welcome guests at 2pm to enjoy the luxury of a scrumptious Afternoon Tea which has been freshly prepared and baked with love in my own kitchen and served with attention to detail. The table will be set for the occasion with pretty table linens and the food is served on elegant vintage china.  My kitchen has been visited and approved by the Food and Safety Team of SODC and more details of my qualifications can be found on our website.

We can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests around our extending table so you may find yourself seated with others who share your love of Afternoon Tea.  However, if you would like to book The Secret Teapot for your own Afternoon Tea with friends or family we can cosily seat up to of 10 guests – and often do.
