Bertie Bear's Daycare offers an inclusive, inviting and secure home from home setting catering for your children's individual needs. Hi I'm Nikki. I am a qualified Level 3 Childcare Practitioner and Ofsted Registered Childminder. I have 8 years experience working in a local nursery as the Training Officer and part of the management team.
My qualifications include:
Level 3 NVQ Children's Care, Learning and Development.
Level 3 QCF Assessing Vocational Achievement.
CYPOP5 Understanding how to set up a home based childcare service.
Paediatric First Aid.
Safeguarding Children.
I am Mum to three beautiful children who are 13, 18 and 26.
I offer an inclusive, warm and inviting environment that is secure but friendly and I aim to cater for your children's individual needs. Your children will have access to their own playroom and free-flow to a secure and fun garden.
I care for children from the ages of 0-11 and also offer an after school collection service from Tewkesbury C of E Primary School.
I plan daily activities to further your child's development by following the statutory guidelines of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Please have a look at my photos which shows some of the activities we do at Bertie Bears.

facebook.comI would like to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Here at Bertie Bear's we have had a very busy festive month being creative. I have had the pleasure to watch four children settle well into school and the joy of welcoming two little ones into my setting. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parents and I feel humbled by so many lovely Christmas gifts xx

The summer is here and we have had lots of fun so far at Bertie Bears! We have enjoyed outdoor activities in the garden, fun at the local parks, feeding the ducks and lots of lovely walks, Our caterpillars turned into beautiful butterflies and we released them outside. We celebrated the Battle of Tewkesbury by making shields. Most importantly we said a big hello to a new little friend who has joined us x

The sunshine is out and so are we at Bertie Bear's Daycare. Over the last two months the children have enjoyed lots of outdoor fun at Tewkesbury Nature Reserve, Worcester Woods and many other lovely walks. We have looked at how things grow, growing beans and cress. We had great fun searching for hidden Easter Eggs with a medal and chocolate prize! x

Spring has sprung! The children at Bertie Bear's have had lots of fun as winter comes to an end. We have celebrated Chinese New Year, enjoyed lots of fine motor skills activities, had fun on muddy walks, celebrated Valentine's Day and St. David's Day, visited the nature reserve and have had fun learning our Jolly Phonic sounds x
