Original art work and family trees designed by myself, hand drawn and then hand cut with a scalpel from a single sheet of paper. Commissions welcome. Hi, I'm Charlotte Dalton - Thank you for visiting my page. I hope you enjoy having a look through my recent work. Papercut Memories was set up after I found a love of papercutting. Having been inspired by some very talented artists, I thought I would 'have a go' myself and am so glad I did!
All orders will be completed working closely with you, to ensure you receive a piece that you can enjoy as much as I have making it. A proof will be sent to you after it has been drawn and before cutting starts to make sure you are happy with it. Depending on the order, it will then be mounted on a sheet of coloured card to enhance the detail.
These cuts make fabulous, affordable gifts for family and friends for birthdays, anniversary's, valentines day or weddings for example. Or maybe just a treat for yourself?!
Prices will be dependent on the commission and will be agreed prior to commencing the cut. A4 Family trees start at £28 for 4 names (excl. P&P). Extra names can be added at £2 per name. A3 family tree's start from £35 (excl P&P). All pieces can be framed from £8. I’ve got two workshops coming up at Acres Annex in Tewin (between Hertford & Welwyn Garden City). You can learn the basics of papercutting using a swivel blade before cutting your own A4 Papercut, from a selection of templates. All tools and equipment will be provided, along with refreshments. Sorry for the silence recently; I’ve been super busy with orders! This is one that kept me particularly busy but it was a pleasure to make...an A3 family tree with 22 names! It shows the grandchildren around the outside of the tree, their parents just inside and the grandparents in the middle. Please get in touch if you’d like to order something similar.
