We are so grateful for everyone’s support! 😘 We are happy to hold items for you, but if we are holding more than a day or two we will require a deposit. Sadly we have been let down too often to not go down this road. Payments can be made various ways to suit and it is purely a small deposit to secure. Thank you for your understanding in this. We have a garden themed post going up before the weekend too! Stock update!!! Apologies it has taken so long, but we have been very busy! We have spent the afternoon, sorting and tidying and photographing stock, we haven’t managed to do all of it but here is a sample! There is more to come as and when we can make time to take pictures! If you have any questions on the items, please ask, we will do what we can to help. Early start for us at TRR today! We have got to see the beautiful sunrise 🌅 though! We are off to Cornwall for a very unusual clearance today .... I wonder where we could be going .... a clue ..... we hope they let us back out!!!! We apologise if you have messaged us over the last couple of days, we have been manic! They say it will get warmer and that spring will come .... here’s hoping!! 😂 Revamping your garden after winter doesn’t have to cost a fortune! Here are some fabulous upcycling ideas featuring items we have in stock regularly, with a little imagination, they can become something very special! Why not give it a go this spring?? ❄️❄️The beast from the east is back❄️❄️ We hope you are all safe and warm in this weather! We have hunkered down and are waiting for it to pass! Once this is over we will bring you the new post of goodies, we have some lovely new items for you! As a small local business we understand that we need to support other local businesses in order to keep them. Tavistock is a lovely and we think in a lot of ways unique gem of a town, let’s all pull together to keep it special. A small business can ONLY survive with the help of local people and other local businesses. Use them or lose them!

We have been busy 🐝 ‘s this week! Lots of jobs completed, three auctions attended for buying new stock and lots of tidying and sorting out! Another fun packed week ahead! We will be photographing the new stock and bringing you a post mid week. Also .... Due to changes in the way Facebook allow you to see posts, you will need to choose to follow the page and click the ‘see first’ option, then ‘get notifications’ otherwise our posts will likely disappear from your timeline! 😱😔 We don’t want that to happen! So sad to see ... 😔😔😔 Someone fly tipped rubbish just outside of Buckland yesterday during the day!! 😡😡😡 It makes us so angry to see, both that someone is willing to do this!! We live in a beautiful part of the world, is it worth ruining to save a few pounds???!!! This has either been dumped by the people themselves or, they have paid someone to take it. Either way they are legally at fault and we understand the police are involved them having been found. Please please .... if you are going to pay someone to take your rubbish, use someone who has a tipping license!!! It’s not rocket science! 🤯 Yes, it will cost you, but it will be a lot less than if you have to pay the £5000 fine for fly tipping. A few tips to avoid being caught out ; 1. Ask if the company has a waste carriers licence, also it is important they have the necessary insurance to, this is to protect the customer! 2. If in doubt visit the Environment Agency website where there is a list of all local registered waste carriers. If you can’t find them, don’t use them! 3. A licenced company will never do jobs for ‘cash’ we have to be able to provide relevant paperwork for EVERY job carried out. You should always receive a receipt for any waste removed. 4. Ask to see their copy of their licence. Any registered company should always carry a copy or a registration card with them. 5. If the price is too good to be true, it probably is!! All registered company’s are charged by weight for the majority of waste, some items such as mattresses, tv’s, fridges, freezers or computer equipment are charged per unit due to them being disposed of separately. 6. If you have any doubt about who you are using .... DON’T USE THEM! It just isn’t worth it! Using a licensed company will never be the cheapest option, but, it is the safest and in the long run you are helping to keep our beautiful part of the country clear of rubbish!!
