Cubs jumped into spring time tonight by putting the ups and downs of Monday behind them and having a flippin’ good night! It’s fair to say everyone left on a high!

We are extremely proud of Noah and Maggie of our group who have decided to run an appeal this winter for the homeless. They are asking local people to donate any old sleeping bags or blankets that they have, and they will then donate them to a local charity, Open Door. They have also set up a donation page, so you are able to make a donation instead (or as well as): https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/warmforwinter So far they have raised over £200, and they are hoping to get BBC Somerset to do something on it too! Taunton's Largest Bonfire & Fireworks Spectacle returns for another year on Saturday 4th November! Gates open at 18:00, bonfire lit at 19:00, fireworks at 19:30 Gift aid your entrance fee to be in with a chance of starting the display by remote control! Our annual bonfire & firework display will this year take place on Saturday 4th November, with gates opening at 6pm, the bonfire being lit at 7pm and the fireworks commencing at 7.30pm. Prices will remain the same as last year at £5 for adults, £3 for children and under 5's free. More details will be announced in the next few days including a link to an information page on our website. We will also be at Taunton Carnival on Saturday 21st October with our float, handing out flyers and collecting money. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 4th November!
