Pursuit of Strength is a idea in which brings people together to work as a team to help those reach their Health, Fitness or Sports Performance goals The BIGGEST problem with wanting a personal trainer is choosing WHICH ONE. There are hundreds, maybe even thousands of qualified personal trainers in every city that claim to be able to get you the results you want. And 9/10 thats probably true.
However, helping you achieve ‘body transformations' is the easiest part of a PTs job, and we believe could be done by anyone who can google ’Gym training plans’ and be willing to repeatedly shout ‘Come on, keep going’ for 60minutes or less. Which we don’t believe is worth even £5 an hour, and it isn’t.
We live in a time where obesity is a serious crisis and is a major factor contributing to the leading causes of death in the UK. This is down to a number of reasons but ultimately it's because we are not all equipped with the knowledge to fight against obesity.
What we need is educating. Educating on how we can deal with the problems we face regarding our health each and every day (often without knowing) and educate everyone on what really helps your health. Which is the approach we use here at PoS.

Every piece of ethical practice and morals went down the shitter when manufacturers continued producing those vaginal opening and closing mechanisms or, most commonly known as, the Abductor and Adductor machines. No matter how many times science rips apart the fact you can't spot reduce fat and the amount of times I explain this to people, it continues to resurface in my toilet after flushing like a true floater. Here's 4 things for you next time you see those machines: 1. Yes, everyone has specific spots where the collect stubborn fat, often it is the thighs. But these exercises are doing nothing for you in terms of body composition / 'toning' 🙄. 2. Functionality of them is awful, unless your an experienced strength athlete with hypertrophy as a goal, please don't bother with them. 3. The glutes (your ass) is actually placed in a shite position to carry out its actual movements on the adductor 4. It fucks your IT band up further than it already has from sitting on your ass 9 hours a day.
