Hello all my lovelies, We want to thank you for your patience with intake being closed, we were about to reopen intake but due to Karen selling her house so quickly, unfortunately it will remain closed until further notice as she is busy moving house! The shop will still be open as usual with loads of lovely 'new' and 'preloved' things for your little ones, so please come down and have a look for yourself x

Hi everyone! Intake is now open!

Just have to tell you all about my favourite customer, a little lady called Eva who is just three or four years old and was shopping with us last week at Buttons. Eva clearly loves to dress up and shop!(she was looking gorgeous in her little outfit complete with orange beads - so wish I'd asked her mum if I could have taken a pic of Eva shopping to post). Eva was busy choosing clothes for herself whilst her Mum shopped for her little baby sister, and every time Eva found something she liked she would show her Mum and her Mum would say "ooh that's pretty, let's look what size it is" before adding it to the pile to buy. Then Eva found something she really liked the look of and again run to her Mum to show her, and her Mum said "what size is it though?" and this little voice replied, "it's size gorgeous"! As you can imagine we have a lot of fun at Buttons with all the little ones we get through our doors, all of them characters, so there's always plenty to smile and laugh about, but I will never forget the little girl who created the size 'gorgeous'!!!!!!!!!! Then to top it all off the next day I get this message: "Thanks so much for Eva's balloons yesterday! Made her day. She keeps talking about the very kind lady in the shop!" So lovely and have to say 'made my day' and I am still smiling about it a week later so had to share it with you all x

We are looking for a local mum or Grandma who loves shopping at Buttons (wages paid in shop credit)to join our team. You would need to be friendly and helpful and available to work 10-4, we could fix a set day a week or it could be flexible. Training will given. Please pop in or message me if interested. Thanks x
