Description
We are an Aquarium shop based in Swanley, Kent who specialises in tropical fish, marine fish, coral fish and pond fish as well as having a range of plants, tanks and other aquatic products. Birchwood Aquatic Centre is an independent, specialist aquatic retailer which opened in 1978. Four of our staff has each worked here for more than 25 years.
We are possibly unique in that we do not have any of our fish delivered to us but collect them all from trusted suppliers; in the case of marine fish, invertebrates and many species of tropicals, picking them out individually ourselves to ensure the best possible quality.
We also have a dedicated quarantine facility housing over sixty tanks where some of the more delicate species are settled before being offered for sale.

Our opening hours over the festive season are as follows: Christmas Eve - 09:00 - 15:30 Christmas Day - Closed Boxing Day - Closed Tuesday 27th December - Closed Then normal opening hours (see below) until: New Year's Eve - 09:00 - 16:30 New Year's Day - Closed Then normal opening hours as follows: Mon - Sat: 09:00 - 17:30 Sun: 10:30 - 16:30
