🐾👣Part time dog walking & animal care position available 🐾👣 ** To commence from February 2018 ** Sam's Pampered Paws are currently recruiting for a self employed individual who is reliable and trustworthy, to become part a fantastic small team of dog walkers and animal care professionals. This is a part time position of 3 to 10 hours per week but may lead to a full time position for the right candidate in the future. We would require you to carry out the following tasks:- - Individual dog walking (on/off lead) - Group dog walking (on/off lead) - Cat & small animal feeding - Puppy visits - Animal pop in day care visits - Occasional nail clipping The ideal candidate would have a full driving licence, be physically fit, able to work in all weather conditions and could ideally provide the following:- - Passion for animals and their welfare - Experienced in handling a variety of dogs (and other domestic animals) -Have behavioural knowledge and able to carry out basic health checks (full training will be given) - Excellent time keeping and able to use initiative and common sense to make decisions. - Able to work individually and as part of a team to carry out tasks. - Be willing to participate in training and courses to further animal care knowledge. - Able to stay calm and relaxed under pressure. - Have excellent communication skills. - Respect client confidentiality.
