Cadet Sea Rangers - tomorrow you are doing a little Scouts Pace. Please wear uniform as normal but make sure you have a warm coat and you may wear trainers instead of shoes. Sea Rangers - you can go with them, in which case you will also need your uniform as normal and a coat and trainers (or something comfortable to jog in) OR you can stay behind but we have tidying up to do! I think I know what I would rather do!!

We are very happy to welcome Amilee and Emily who were invested into the Association tonight as Cadet Sea Rangers. Well done girls on a flawless ceremony albeit a bit of a pin placing mishap! Congratulations on your investiture. Tracey.

Just to remind you, full uniform must be worn on our Friday meetings throughout the whole of the winter/spring season - unless I or Katy have advised differently. Uniform is: Cadets - navy blue jumper, navy blue trousers, white polo shirt, beret, blue neckerchief and white woggle. Rangers, as above but with Sea Ranger hat, black neckerchief and blue woggle. The officers wear uniform, and so must you! Thanks :-) Tracey.

Christmas Parties on Friday! Cadets - in the HQ with lots of games and fun, music and food. Rangers at Rachel's for pretty much the same thing (Rangers - don't forget your £5). I can't be in two places at once and this year I'm celebrating Christmas with the Rangers. So to all the Cadets and their parents, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Tracey.

Over the winter, we see much damage done to our lovely field by cars driving over it when coming to drop off or pick up. Last winter we, and the Sea Scouts, banned car parking for anyone (other than leaders when essential) on the field. We are going to do this again with immediate effect so that the grass has a chance to recover. Can I ask you all therefore to not drive through the gates when dropping off and picking up (the gates to the HQ will remain closed during the rest of the winter), but to instead use the main car park opposite. The main gates to the park will be open and so the car park is accessible. Sorry for any inconvenience but we really do need to let the grass recover before irreparable damage is made to the field. If you do happen to see the gates to the HQ have been left open please don't be tempted to drive through. They will perhaps have been left open by accident. Thank you for your support.
