Been too busy installing to actually get anything posted lately! Here's some photos of a lovely tartan Axminster carpet fitted on a staircase last week.

Installed over the last couple of days on this beautiful staircase - delighted with the end result. Pattern matched runner, landings and steps. All goods purchased from Barber & Whale.

Another job that we at Barber & Whale can be truly proud of. No job should be rushed, but particularly something specialist such as Tartan. This really catches the eye and its added more customers to our ever growing list that we can tick as fully satisfied!! A nice, centred stair runner, which we arranged to have whipped and bound in time to have the job completed, pattern matched with the rest of the staircase, and finished off with some nice chrome stair rods for a touch of class. We pride ourselves on assigning the required time to complete a specialist job, two fitters taking their time to ensure it's done right. The only downside to being busy, not finding the time to share some of the photos of the work we carry out! Here are some photos of a lovely job from last week. Large kitchen and utility vinyl - and lounge and staircase carpet. Finished off with some heavy duty entrance matting in the customers porch. Kitchen and utility screeded and plyboarded before having vinyls fitted.

Some photos of some Balterio Laminate we fired last week in an apartment in Sunderland - beautiful product. Uplifted all the old flooring, installed new underlay and flooring, shaved the kickboards and fitted beading with mitres and returns. We don't rush our jobs, we assigned two days for this install, two fitters. It's all about getting it right, and adding more happy customers to our ongoing list! Lovely deep red luxury carpet fitted in a customers lounge yesterday, fitted on Ball & Young's Roma underlay, suitable on underfloor heating. With arguably the nicest fireplace we've come across yet!

This is what we've been busy on for the last couple of days - stunning tartan carpet on a stunning staircase! And a lovely purple carpet for the bedroom! Installed on cloud9 contract underlay, and an Antique Brass doorbar going from landing carpet to the bedroom carpet. Fitted on all our own prep work. Back next week to fit their lounge carpet.
