It is a combination of talking therapy and trance. The talking part focuses on our goals, plans and strategies for change and the trance part gives our unconscious mind the opportunity to consolidate our thoughts.
Trance is surprisingly normal - we go in and out of trance quite naturally several times a day e.g. when we're engrossed in something like watching TV, reading etc.
It is relaxing and enjoyable and helps us find the solutions which are right for us.
