The crowning moment of one of our more popular Thursday Seminars at the Shakespeare Institute! A huge thank you to Simon Russell Beale for his entertaining and fascinating Q&A on acting Shakespeare. The Honorary Fellow laurel garland has been passed!
Today's Thursday Seminar: Simon Russell Beale Q&A with Abigail Rokison-Woodall. Once described as "the greatest stage actor of his generation" SRB's career spans over 30 years, and a host of Shakespeare's characters: Lear, Hamlet, Prospero, Falstaff, Richard III, Timon... The SI are pleased to provide their students with a rare opportunity to hear this acclaimed actor discuss his life with Shakespeare.
Everyone at The Shakespeare Institute mourns the death of John Barton, co-founder, with the late Sir Peter Hall, of the Royal Shakespeare Company. His combination of scholarly rigour and theatrical intensity will remain an inspiration for generations to come.
