Playing Pitches Public Consultation Event Derry City and Strabane District Council has commissioned Otium Leisure Consultancy to carry out a condition survey of playing pitches (association football, cricket, hockey, gaelic games and rugby) across the council area to gain an up to date picture of the supply of pitches and the demand for them. This survey will assist the Council in considering playing pitch development. This is an important piece of work, which will assist in the preparation of a Playing Pitch Strategy informing sport development across the Council in the coming years. Club representatives are invited to attend any of the three public consultation events across the district: 1.Tuesday 23 January 7.30 pm - Derg Valley Leisure Centre 2.Thursday 25th January 7.30 pm - Foyle Arena 3.Tuesday 30th January 7.30 pm Melvin Sports Complex

Survive & Save Programme at Riversdale Leisure Centre RLSS UK’s Survive & Save Programme is the lifesaving awards programme for teens and adults (12years+). The awards are challenging but fun to complete and they are arranged into Bronze, Silver and Gold levels to ensure that you continue to develop your lifesaving skills as you progress through the awards. The awards teach lifesaving rescue, self-rescue, survival, lifesaving sport skills and also develop swimming ability and fitness. Starts Wednesday 24th January from 5.00-6.45pm, cost is £50 For bookings and further info contact reception on 028 7138 2672

**Customer Notice** Please note due to essential maintenance the main pool will be closed for the remainder of the evening (Tuesday 7th March) , this will affect public swimming and also kids in levels 3,4, 5, 6 swim lessons. The toddlers pool will remain open for swim lessons and public use. For further info please contact reception on 028 7138 2672. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
