A huge thanks to everyone who took part in the Big Syria Acoustic Gig last night. Especially our 3 fantastic performers Xander Lyons, Millie, Alex Cornish and not forgetting the audience and volunteers who make this one of the biggest and most memorable gigs we have ever staged in Stow Town Hall. Well done everyone involved.

---------Xander Lyons joins the Big Syria Gig line up------ Stowed Out Festival are delighted to confirm that Xander will be joining the line up for the Big Syria Gig. Those of you who were at the festival will remember Xander played a storming set on the Saturday this year and we are looking forward to great night of music for a great cause.

The fantastic Millie will be joining Alex Cornish on the 18th Feb at the Big Syria Acoustic Gig check out her music at http://themilliemojo.wixsite.com/milliehcmusic/music Millie is a singer/songwriter from the Scottish Borders. She recreates the sounds of a ‘one woman band’ with the help of her loop station to create layers of alternative, acoustic melodies. Her influences are an eclectic mix of sounds ranging from The Smiths to the likes of Alt J and Bombay Bicycle Club. She has also been compared to a young Laura Marling and KT Tunstall accompanied with an “impressive depth and range” vocally.
