Set in the heart of Derbyshire, nestled in the breath taking Hope valley. The Moon Inn is a traditional country pub, surrounded by the stunning countryside of the Peak District National Park.
The pub has just undergone a comprehensive refurbishment, creating an interesting mix of rustic and modern interiors throughout, and will be offering luxury en-suite rooms in early 2016.
We offer a comprehensive wine list, real ales and home cooked food using locally sourced produce. There is also a beer garden, log burning stove and private parking.

Santa’s helper came in for drinks today!😊 What a wonderful day we had seeing locals and customers from further afield for drinks and good cheer followed by serving over 70 guests for a fabulous, freshly cooked 3 course Christmas dinner. Thank you to our dedicated kitchen and front of house staff for all your hard work today. You are hugely appreciated ☺️ So much more to come!!... open every day as usual for food and drinks then on New Years Eve we serve food until 8pm.. at 9pm until late we welcome back, by popular demand the fabulous ‘Beanie’.. singer/guitarist.. at midnight we will await the chimes of Big Ben (he’s been quiet of late😉) to see in the new year.. 2018 with Auld Lang Syne and much merriment, more music and cheer 🕺🍻🎉🍸🎵🎉🕺🍸into the night... Thank you for your custom and for helping us keep The Moon Inn.. the last and only pub in Stoney Middleton open for all to enjoy.. Joy, Dave and all our staff x❤️ ps. Did you know we employ 23 people?.. all local. It’s hard work with long unsociable hours but so very rewarding to breathe life back into the old place with such a great team.
