www.hjcdance.co.uk Classical Ballet is the foundation for all performance based dance. The Heather Carmichael School of Dance aims to communicate a love of dance and encourage the art of dance, nurturing each individual learner in a healthy, disciplined and safe learning environment.
Heather Carmichael was formally trained in ballet, tap and jazz at the Lillian McNeill School of Dance. She is a member of the Guild of Professional Teachers of Dancing, an Associate of the Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance (SDTA) and has membership of the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. Her professional career spanned some fifteen years as a dancer, featured singer and ultimately as one half of the international acrobatic duo, Vivid Imagination, visiting over fifty countries in five continents. As a result, she has a wide and varied experience of all types of dance.

Due to very extreme weather we have taken the decision to cancel classes this Saturday. We want to keep everyone safe. Next week classes will be in the Strathaven Scout and Guide Hall in Kirk Street. See you then when hopefully spring will have arrived!!
