As we said here is a little competition to celebrate us being the first club in Teesside to have the new 861 Simonis cloth fitted to our 8 ball table. Thornaby Snooker Centre is proud to announce we have just had one of our 8 Ball Pool has been re-clothed in the new 861 Simonis blue cloth. We are the first club in Teesside to have this cloth fitted and will be available from Thursday 16th February to play on, To help celebrate we will run a competition to give away some free time prizes. After a fantastic weekend of professional pool we would like to congratulate all the players who qualified and wish you all the best of luck when you head out to Cyprus & The Netherlands later this year. We would also like to thank the IPA for allowing us to bring the World Series Qualifier to the North East. We would also like to thank the following people for there contributions, help and efforts. Wayne Pinder (Tsunami Steaming) fantastic steaming over the weekend ( carn't thank you enough Wayne 5 star job) Kevin Barton, Simon Webb, and other members of the IPA committee,referee Scott, drivers etc. Marc Farnsworth & Chris Bowron for recommended our venue, To all the players who showed true professionalism at all times. I can confirm today that newly crowned IPA 2017 world champion Craig Marsh will be entering the World Series events this coming weekend, so why not come down and see the world champion in action 🤗

We have been working hard to bring a professional pool tournament to Thornaby snooker centre. And I'm glad to say next weekend ( sat 11th & 12th February) We will be hosting the IPA World Series qualifier 1 ( sat ) & qualifier 2 ( sun ) with the winners picking up prize money and qualifying through to Cyprus & Netherlands later in the year these events will also carry ranking points so it's all to play for. Not only that but our tables will be transformed to the much talked about 861 Simonis blue cloth. So why not come down and see the professionals in action both events are scheduled to start from 10am and carry on right throughout the day. See you there.
