facebook.comBusy day today. Grass turned up and baled, 13 plus a baby bale, so 14(don't like unlucky number). Not bad from the winter grazing and jumps field. Popped to Richmond with Elle. We moved up a level, after holding back so far to do the bronze and she jumped clear in both the 1.10m and 1.20m. Good girl. I will be building a course in the show arena field tomorrow, then they will stay there for 6ish weeks until the end of the summer. Not that we"ve had much of one! I currently have a few livery spaces so if anyone is looking, we are a small competition orientated yard. All horses are on a regular assisted diy routine and are stabled at night. Please ring me if you wish to view.
The course of showjumps will be taken in tomorrow as the grass needs to be cut. With the warm and wet weather the grass is nearly as high as the fences!! As soon as it gets baled they will be put back out into the show field arena, ready for anyone wishing to prepare for the Aug/Sept local country shows. I will still be teaching this week with a course set up in the all weather arena.
If I can just jump high enough!
The full course of showjumps is now set up in the field. It is available to hire for schooling at £10 per horse. If you need your own instructor they are welcome or I do sessions for £25, which includes the hire charge.
Lambing finished. It's so nice seeing them out in the field.
After a very busy week lambing this one is my favourite. Patch has given us Blackleg.
