Identity Drama – Become the Person You Were Born to Be

This is a fun and exciting opportunity to join in our new 'Identity' drama group! We're not just trying to find our actors, singers and dancers in our young students but looking for fun enthusiastic people who want to become more confident in everything they chose to do. We want to build self esteem and encourage self belief. Being able to speak in public places, to talk confidently with our peers and seeing every day as a new opportunity to have fun! We (Connor and I) have been able to secure places at venues across Hertfordshire. We have access to three hours on a weekly basis. Together we will run 50min slots of singing/dancing and acting with a ten minutes break between sessions. During singing class the students will learn how to maintain their voices with breathing exercises, harmonising, vocal technique and practising different genres. Along with learning how to project our voices when speaking in public or with our peers. Drama class will cover confidence building, performance skills and different elements involving still images, thought tracking, thought tracking by proxy, encapsulating and hot seating. Dance class will cover everything from modern, Latin, ballroom, street, jazz and contemporary to name a few. These sessions will be at the cost of £9 per student. £3 per class, however all classes need to be taken in 3hr slots due to rehearsals and performance practice.
