Professional holiday & convalescence livery, breaking and training services on a private, family-run yard in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside.  Having produced from breaking through to competing at CCI*, Alex has vast experience in working with a wide variety of horses and ponies from 12hh upwards.

Whether you want a horse produced to be a safe and fun 'happy hacker', a Pony Club or Riding Club superstar or want to go on to compete at affiliated level, every horse/pony is treated as an individual and given the utmost care and attention.

On our lovely, quiet family yard horses have access to secure daily turnout and stabling in loose boxes within an purpose built American Barn. There is ample hacking on quiet, country lanes and an all weather sand and PVC school. We are also located just a few miles from the 3,000 acres of Cannock Chase country park - great for hacking, and there are a good number of local shows & venues to introduce youngsters to a competitive environment.

Occasionally full livery spaces may become available with exercise and schooling an option. Holiday livery a specialty.

As well as offering holiday and schooling livery we also do Convalescence Livery... When your horse needs extra care under veterinary guidance it can be tough going with busy modern lifestyles. From box rest and walks in hand to first turn out and gently bringing back into work I can help get your horse on the road to recovery. Our purpose built American Barn stables have half doors to the rear allowing horses on box rest to see ‘outside’ as well as watch the comings and goings on the internal yard. while over 20 years experience means changing dressings, bandaging and giving medication is professionally taken care of. A background training and preparing eventers to CIC* level means that fittening programmes can be tailored to individual needs, while miles of quiet lanes are perfect for walking exercise. So, if you are in the unfortunate position of having a horse that needs some TLC to recover from illness or injury our quiet, private yard next to our farmhouse could offer the peace of mind you’ve been looking for. DM this page or call me on 07718751406 to discuss your horse’s needs.

I've received this really lovely message from my most recent holiday livery client ❤️ Connor came home today after four weeks with Alex and he looks really well. He arrived bathed, with his hooves oiled. The tack had even been cleaned. He has obviously been very well cared for and Alex had kept up his sarcoid treatments for which I am very grateful. Alex has a lovely way with the horses and I never worried about Connor's care while I was on holiday I trusted that Alex would do for Connor what she would do for her own horse and you can ask no more. I shall not hesitate to send Connor to you again. The help with transport made things much easier. I big THANK YOU from both of us.
