Spalding School of Dance
Description
Please Private Message us for days, times and costs of various classes. Our class times depend on age of the student. Our friendly dance school is situated on Horseshoe Road off Hawthorn Bank in Spalding.
With the luxury of two, professionally equipped studios which include floor to ceiling mirrors, ballet barres, Harlequin finished sprung floors and climate control throughout, this provides students with the necessary demands for the fast expanding, high octane performing art.
Under the direction of Miss Claire, principal of the school, students are able to work towards and and progress through the grading systems whilst having fun, making friends and keeping fit. Being the only qualified I.S.T.D teacher in the area for both Tap and Modern, and a long standing RAD Ballet teacher, Miss Claire has a succession of graduates who are instantly accepted into top London and accredited dance schools.
As the largest dance school in the area we pride ourselves on having highly qualified teachers for all genres at the most competitive prices in South Holland, while maintaining a friendly atmosphere for our dancers to grow and flourish. Come and see our classes in action, see the high standard of teaching and the enjoyment at all levels! Hip Hop is also taught to very popular students!

In response to the American Presenter saying Ballet is not for boys, this happened.
I took Bethan to see Ed Sheeran last night and The Darkness were supporting. She insisted on doing some ballet whilst they sang one of their hits 😂 Not the type of dancing their use to 🤣 x

We have lots of boys who have done Ballet and loved it. Shame on the presenter for mocking Prince George. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1107929242749222&id=279663035575851
Have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend. We will be answering messages on Tuesday.

Jonathan had a fantastic time at the Spalding school of dance workshop this week. All the students and staff were wonderful to Jonathan once again. He especially enjoyed seeing James Worthington again.
Once again, you have all gone above and beyond for an amazing week, for a fun packed show! Harriet's dancing skills improve week after week. Well done all of you 🖤🖤🖤
Thank you Miss Claire and all the team for yet another fabulous performance. It was the first time my youngest has ever danced and she has come home every night this week so excited about going back the following day. I was so proud of them this afternoon and it is all down to the time and care you give to all your little dancers, thank you again xx
Another proud mum: Thankyou to you all for this week you have help jorgie know there's nothink to be scared of and get up on stage ❤️ she hasn't stopped talking about all the fun she's had and making new friends thankyou ever so much and here's to many years of jorgie growing and doing more shows.
From the mum of one of our youngest workshop dancers: Wow how talented are all the students.. what a fantastic show. I seriously can't believe you did that in a week. If my daughter hadn't been coming all week I would never had believed you'd pulled that off in 1 WEEK!! Each and every single of the dancers should be so proud of themselves. To say my daughter has only been with you since June I am 1 extremely proud Mummy.. 1st she did the shows and now the workshop. From starting of as a very shy girl and lack of confidence and always clingy to now beaming with confidence she would never have done what she has done if it wasn't for the ladies Miss Claire and Mrs King. So from the bottom of my heart I would like to say a massive thank you for all your hard work and getting my daughter where she is today you both deserve a medal haha xxx
