Here is a lead valley replacement completed today. Firstly the tiles and slates are removed from either side of the valley to allow access. The old split lead is then removed. A run of felt and new lead is then dressed into the valley and the tiles and slates are secured back into place and are then pointed. We also had to straighten this valley out by re-cutting the tiles.
