Description
Quickstart is a government funded scheme run by Brockenhurst College to provide training, advice and support for anyone over 18 who is unemployed The service is completely free and run in partnership with Jobcentre Plus and local recruitment agencies, covering Southampton and the New Forest area to help people find employment.
We assess your experiences and interests to ensure that we find a training course that will help you find employment in an area that you'll enjoy.
Based in Southampton, with additional venues in Brockenhurst, Lymington and New Milton, the service aims to be as convenient as possible.
We work closely with employers and agencies to help provide various employment opportunities directly linked to the training.
No matter what your age, interest or experience, we offer training for a wide range of areas:

Retail
Forklift (Refresher)
SIA (inc. Door Supervisor, Security Guard, CCTV)
IT

Jobs fair today at Southampton Solent University 10am-3pm
Southampton Jobs Fair When: Friday 7th October 2016 10am-3pm Where: The Spark Conference Centre, Southampton Solent University, East Park Terrace, SO14 0YN Come and meet employers from different industries who will be promoting job opportunities in a range of sectors. The Jobs Fair is free to enter and will showcase opportunities from employers who have current vacancies along with upcoming vacancies for WestQuay Watermark employers. Preschool in Millbrook are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person to join their team as a deputy lead practitioner, enriching the lives of children and families. You must have a level 3 qualification and at least 2 years experience in childcare and education as a room leader/supervisor/senior. English and maths GCSE A-C grade is desirable. It is also essential that the successful applicant has a good understanding of the EYFS and be able to provide and safe, stimulating environment for children aged 2-5 years.
