It’s been a busy time at the easel. This wedding gift Family Story includes the proposal venue, hen and stag party memories, wedding cake and accessories, the honeymoon destinations of LA, San Francisco and Hawaii and Ollie the Collie!

A retirement gift request with a difference - two seagulls and their babies for a teacher at the end of her career. I was asked to include a list of meaningful words so I included them in the nest.

Bruce, a well travelled father of twins, turned 40 recently and his parents asked me to paint a collage style Family Story for him - flying from Dorset, in a Bird of Paradise plane, to live in Papua New Guinea as a child clearly influenced a life of travel to Thailand, Australia and Japan, visiting the snow monkeys in their hot springs home. A love of Cornwall, being a football referee and the story behind the wedding flowers and the door key are all included here, along with the family fat black cat and the thin black cat! What would be in your Family Story painting?

It's been so nice painting this surprise family story for my lovely friends Jane and Pascal as they reach their milestone birthdays - even though our house is like a building site, proving that "where there's a will, there's a way" (which means painting whilst sitting in the edge of my bed in this case). Items include Dawlish, Haytor, the Pyrenees, baking, boating, surfing and the gorgeous, grey nosed Belle. Happy Birthdays!

The Start Bay Whale caused quite a stir, appearing in South Hams waters this spring after Storm Doris. I thought I'd paint a picture to show her, capture the level of interest and to pay tribute to the people who rescued her, not once, but twice, after being caught in lobster and whelk pot lines. Safe travels Doris, wherever you are now - please come back and visit again - maybe I'll actually see you next time! (Sense of time and place with primroses and cream then jam scones aka springtime in wonderful Devon)

A Royal Marine and red theme featured in my latest Family Story for a Golden Wedding present - the rusty Canberra returning from the Falklands, red roses and a robin, poppies and Challaborough and lots of items representing family members and memories. Hand made bunting finished the canvas depicting more fond reminders of 50 years of marriage.

A rather delayed (and rather large!) Christmas present is at last in it's rightful place - hanging on the wall in Alice (loves daisies and Rory) and Rory (loves rugby and Alice)'s home, completing their gorgeous, cosy yellow and grey living room. This canvas is 1m x 1.20m but all sizes are available - if you've got an empty space on a wall, let's talk about filling it!

Meet Mabel, the gorgeous Hungarian Vizsla who loves to steal socks! She is painted on a 50 x 50 square canvas, in acrylic and chalk paint.
