Shooting Ground National Shooting Centre – Scotland is family run company which offers Clay Pigeon Shooting lessons, Shooting Workshops & Team Building events, Pay & Play shooting Facilities, National and International Competitions venue:
We draws sharp shooters and beginners to our state of the art facilities. Based in the hills above Falkirk, the shooting school sits within a 1000 acres of grassland and upland moor with views across the Kilsyth Hills. You wont believe you are 40 minutes from both Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling.
We have been coaching shooters to smoke clays for over 35 years. The school with its over 24 layouts including National Skeet, Olympic Trap, DTL and Sporting. We held the Scottish, British and European Championships in Down The Line in 2017 and will host the Olympic Skeet Home International in 2018. Instructor-led clay pigeon shooting lessons are available to members of the public and groups.
Our facilities include club house with café, roaring fire and quality hot chocolate, tea, coffee and cakes. We stock a wide range of shooting & hunting clothing, accessories, cartridges and guns.

Well folks, there's lots going on this weekend what with the 2017 Autumn Test Rugby today and the Scottish Football League Cup Final on tomorrow. However if you want to get away from it all, we do have a very warm welcome waiting for you here at the shooting centre and it will be cosy. Not to mention the wonderful ground you can go and practice on. NSK Winter Series (rd 3) and OT Reg Shoot both on Sunday. Entries from 10am for both if you want to get in early!!!
The NSC Sporting Clinic will be running next week, 29 Nov, so make sure you get yourself booked on! These clinics are an informal, small group session run by our very own Stewart Cumming who can definitely help improve your shooting. Great news - the team here at the NSC are busy getting prepared for December and of course the weekend coming.... Evening everyone, A huge thanks to everyone who came to the NSC today for our 2nd Club Shoot - what a terrific day, very relaxed and with 63 entries, now that is fantastic!!! We were delighted. And everyone having fun! The winner of the Open Shoot and £100 High Gun was Tom Young with an impressive score of 68, Runner up with £50 Stuart Donaldson with 64. Fantastic Guys!!! Our Members Club Shoot Trophy winner for the competition was David Lyall with a score of 68 (after handicap) who tied with Marus Nicol on 68 also. As both were absent we used countback to ascertain today's winner, the much coveted Deer Trophy awaits you, well done! Please note we shall now be using a handicap system for scoring the club shoot. Quick update in yesterday's olympic skeet scores Stewart Mckay shot a 84 not a 82 that was advertised yesterday rounds of 20,20,24,20. NSCS TEAM.

Good Evening Everyone, We hope the weekend has started well for you all. A trip to see us though, would make it perfect, especially with what's planned this weekend. We have a SCTA Reg OSK shoot tomorrow, entries from 10am (call us for further info) hopefully that might tempt you and if not, perhaps we shall see you at our second Sporting Club Trophy Shoot on Sunday, 70 birds, entries from 10-3pm. £20 entry, £15 re-entry. The club shoot is a great way to get to know other members/non members and is very relaxed and friendly - everyone is welcome and all abilities especially. Remember there's a wonderful prize of £100 high gun and £50 runner up donated by shooting Santa himself!! And ofcourse our trophy. Lovely atmosphere going on and we would love to see you join us - pop in and say hi to the Team.
We will be hosting a series of registered OTR shoots over the winter starting on 26 November and continuing on 10 December, 13 January and finishing on 10 February. £35 per person, £100 guaranteed to the high gun for first shoot with usual allocation of prizes from the entry fund.
