A lovely update from our Senior Welfare Adviser Hannah: "At Easter we told you the story of best friends Mini and Ginny, whose hooves had been left to become hideously overgrown. "Over recent weeks the dedicated holding base staff, vet and farrier, have worked hard to give this pair a second chance at life. I am pleased to say, so far, so good! As you can see they have both had a good groom and the farrier has been gradually trimming back the hooves. "They are certainly a lot more comfortable on their feet and we have been able to reduce their pain relief. Mini was clipped and bathed as her thick dirty coat was causing her skin to become irritated and sore. "We are so thrilled Mini and Ginny are responding well to treatment so here's to more of the same over the months to come! Huge thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes - it all counts."
