Kennaway House: a Grade II* listed building offering an historic beautiful setting for weddings, art shows, literary, history talks, community use, music Built in 1805, the year of Trafalgar, Kennaway House is a handsome Regency mansion standing in its own grounds at the heart of Sidmouth. After a £1 million restoration carried out in 2008-2009, Kennaway House and its gardens offer an historic and beautiful setting for many purposes.

The main Regency floor provides impressive gallery space for art and other exhibitions. With its high, graceful rooms the House is also a romantic wedding venue for your ceremony and/or reception. The Cellar Bar is perfect for parties of all kinds for up to 80 people. We also have meeting rooms to accommodate groups from 10 to 100, suitable for business training and conferences. Today is the Farmers Market, not in snow but what we’re used to most.... rain! It’s taking place NOW..... we have ... fresh fish, chicken, venison, veg, preserves, cakes, honey and to top it all, ‘India in a jar’ with wonderful spices & curry’s on offer! Who's in the house Today? Floralities is from 2pm! Mothers' Day Fresh Flower Basket Workshop with Deb Eden of Floralities This workshop will teach you how to design and create your own basket filled with seasonal English flowers to produce a beautiful floral gift. With Debbie demonstrating each step and then being on hand to assist, you will feel confident to follow the guidelines to make something unique, long lasting and fragrant. Cost of workshop includes all materials and home-bakes: £35.
