Luxury cakes for special occasions If you want a cake that is extra special then this is the place to come. Whether it's a birthday, wedding, baby shower, Christmas party or just an excuse for a treat; whatever the occasion, A Taste of occasion can accommodate. From cupcakes to multi-tiered wedding cakes; choose a design and a sponge flavour, order and enjoy!
You can choose the type of the sponge you want from the list below:
Vanilla (with jam and buttercream filling)
Chocolate
Lemon (with lemon curd and butter cream filling)
Banana
Fruit
Red velvet (with a cream cheese frosting filling)
Rainbow (with a butter cream filling)
We also have gluten, sugar and dairy free options available.
If you would like a design that isn't shown or a flavour that isn't listed then I am happy to consider requests.
Prices will vary depending on the order. Below is a a pricing guide for cakes covered in white fondant with simple decoration:
6" round (serves 16)

8" round/7" square (serves 26)

Payment and cancellation policy:
A 50% deposit is required upon placing an order. The remaining amount is to be paid in cash or cheque upon collection. Collection only. Collection from Sidcup.
Cancellations less than 48 hours before the date the order is due will still require full payment. This period extends to one month for wedding cakes.

Recreating a favourite....chocolate and strawberry layer cake. Soft chocolate sponge layered with strawberries and cream frosting topped with velvety smooth chocolate ganache and finished with chocolate covered strawberries. Happy birthday Simona!

A bright and sparkly first birthday cake. A light and soft vanilla cake with light as a feather Swiss meringue buttercream topped with colourful sprinkles. Accompanied by some Oreo cupcakes, because you can never have too much cake! Happy birthday Maya!
