Description
The Bold Privateer is a newly refurbished Sports and Live Entertainment venue located in Wrose, reopening its doors on the 8th April 2016. The Bold Privateer is proud to announce that it will be re-opening its doors on the 8th April with its new Landlords, Paul & Helen Loat!
The Bold Privateer is currently undergoing a HUGE refurbishment taking 6 weeks to complete. Once finished the new pub will boast a large open plan bar specialising in Live Entertainment weekly including all the Live Sporting Events, which will be shown across multiple large screens, including a projector screen!
We have some great visions for the pub, with lots of fresh new ideas for all audiences. From free pool nights, to karaoke, to family fun days. With lots of special offers to take advantage of!
We will be providing you with Live Bands at least once a week! As well as a live DJ on Friday nights.

Live Entertainment at The Bold Privateer Hunkle Vin will be bringing his Rock n Roll show to us for the first time tonight from 8pm. A special thank you , to an amazing person.... It is with a heavy heart we say good bye to one of the best friend's a man could ever wish for and one of the best work colleagues you could ever wish to have in your team. You helped make my dream become a reality and you have been an integral part of making The Priv as successful as it is. You will be sorely missed not only as a 1st class barman and part of The Priv family, but I will miss my brother from another mother being by my side. The closest of friends through thick and thin, and boy have we been through a lot. We will miss you as part of the team Brother Baxter, but know you will never be far away .... thank you for all that you have done and achieved for us and we wish you all the best for the future and your family. Tonight at The Bold Privateer Not long to go now before we kick off an entertainment packed night at The Priv. Starting at 8:30 we have the amazing Rob Taylor and his first class George Michael & WHAM tribute show. You will be hard pressed to find a better tribute act anywhere in the UK and you can catch him live tonight absolutely FREE!!!! We are also screen the Joshua v Klitschko fight, under-card fights are already underway and showing on our big screen, with the main event being broadcast on all the screens with commentary. So come on down for what guarantees to be a brillaint night!
