I had to post this because of the "clean up"song
So after talking to the library, we are going to see if we can move the play frame from the kids area. I guess they have problems with it during storytimes too. We'll see where it will end up.
Such a huge group on Wednesday. 😱 I am trying to figure out how to make the group a little more inclusive (I guess it's the word). I want everyone to feel welcome and not be intimidated or "put off" by the number of people. It is not always this busy. This week there were around 73 bodies! On average I think it's about 60 (that's adults and children combined). I am worried about the distraction of the play area as it seems to starts a train reaction of migration away from the group. Any ideas? I do this group as a volunteer and it is really important to me. I see it as my way to contribute to the community, so your input is important to me. Note: the play structure can't be removed (I have already asked.)
The children's centre will be leading the group today as I am not feeling well. See you all next week.
