The annual Summer Show has all the elements of a horticultural show - classes for vegetables, fruit, cut flowers, flower arrangements, cakes, jams, knitting and childrens classes. There is also fundraising for the Club involving a raffle, tombola, cake and plant sales. It is all staged in marquees on the lawn at Ightham Mote (National Trust). On Saturday 15th July "Celebrating Ightham", the Ightham Village fete, will also be happening. Lots of stalls on the lawn and free entry to Ightham Mote for the day. On Sunday the National Trust admission applies. Ightham Mote opens from 10am, last entry 4:30pm with the site closing at 5pm. On Saturday our Show is closed until 12 noon to allow judging of all the classes to take place.
