AN UPDATE ON EVENTS THE VIEW RESTAURANT The View restaurant is scheduled to open on Thursday 9th November. Perhaps a summer launch would have favoured the restaurant with outstanding views over to Arran, and the Firth of Clyde. Nevertheless, we occasionally have those crisp blue skies to savour the View, along with the food. Most dates throughout November we shall have a very talented local lad, James Hopkins playing the keyboards as a little background music throughout your meal. On performing Fridays and Saturdays he will do an extended set to include vocals as we positively encourage our dinners to stay on after your meal and enjoy a few drinks and hear what the X factor have missed.....thus far. HOTEL ROOMS The Hotel Rooms are fully booked this weekend exclusively for competitors in the British Padel Tour event at Ayrshire Padel Tennis, Stevenston. Thereafter our bookings diary will open to those interested in accommodation. What’s Padel Tennis I hear you say - well if you are interested you can find out at Stevenston industrial estate on Sunday afternoon when the top players battle it out. Entry free. DUNES BAR Dunes Bar shall open from 7pm on Friday 3rd November. Our aspirations for this 40 cover bar is to serve slightly more casual dining and combine this with a warm and welcoming local pub environment, where both locals and residential guests can relax with partners, family, friends, and new friends. Our hours of opening will be primarily Noon-Midnight Sunday-Thursday, with a 1am close Friday and Saturday. THE GALLEON The Galleon room is currently awaiting furniture and not yet in use, however in the near future this could be a meeting room for business, small receptions or private dining for up to 16 persons. THE GLENBRYDE The Glenbryde room has multiple uses; primarily a golf simulator, where you can play some golf courses from around the world by yourself or with friends, or perhaps have fun with a nearest the pin challenge, or longest drive, or maybe even just practice play and dial in your yardage while escaping the cold wind, rain. Ever fancied a go at Augusta? First one I tried, but hey ho, straight into Rae’s creek for me 😂 So for non golfers what else does the Glenbryde offer? Corporate use for team presentations using the large screen, or for that big sporting occasion reserve the room for you and your chosen friends to watch live events and never miss the action again as our staff serve you with drinks or even something off the snack menu. Did we forget the kids? Not likely, for the kids we offer a giant PlayStation screen with two wireless consoles. We also hope to screen Festive theme kids movies in the run up to Xmas, and perhaps some Disney favourites however that is still subject to checking compliance issues. The room hire for Glenbryde is £24 per hour peak, £20/per hour Mon-Thu 9am-4pm, although at our discretion we may reduce the charges for children if the room is not otherwise booked. FUTURE EVENTS Our website will go live soon and more details can be found there next week, however we can confirm the following dates in the diary. XMAS PARTY NIGHTS - 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd December Bubbly on arrival, three course Festive menu, plus coffee, followed by our DJ & disco to dance away to all those Xmas favourites. £45 per person. XMAS DAY Xmas day lunch sittings at 1pm, and Xmas day dinner sitting at 4pm. Adults £55, under 12 £25, under 5 £10 NEW YEARS EVE DINNER / PARTY Bring in the bells at our Hogmanay Party Night with the Jamie McArthur show A three course New Year’s Eve meal with ticket for show included will be £60 per person. Almost booked out already! FESTIVE MENUS WILL BE POSTED SHORTLY.
