It’s another freezing day ! I have had lots of phone calls/texts regarding boilers breaking down and making a gurgling sound, this is mainly due to the condensate pipe from the boiler being frozen (this is the white pipe that’s comes out at the bottom of your boiler into the drain! ) This can be solved easily by carefully pouring hot water over the full length of the white pipe, this should defrost any blockage inside the pipe and get the boiler up and running again, warming up the pipe visible inside the house with a hairdryer may also help👍 Elderly relatives and family or friends with young children may need this advice to stay warm! ❄️
