Rumours Decorative Arts
Description
Specialists in Moorcroft Pottery from 1897 to the Current day also wonderful Lea Stein costume Jewellery We have been specialising in Moorcroft Pottery since the late 1980’s and first started our business by exhibiting at many Antique Fairs across the country from anywhere from Devon to Scotland. In 1989 we opened our first shop in the Georgian Village in Camden Passage, Islington, London and after a couple of years we moved into ‘The Mall’ in Camden Passage where we were for about 20 years. Sadly the building was purchased by a property developer and we all had to leave. But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we moved our business to Town Hall Antiques in Woburn, Beds where it had been very successful. We closed the shop earlier this year and have moved to SCARBOROUGH in North Yorkshire and now semi retired but will still continue to sell quality Moorcroft pieces online from my website www.rumoursdecoreativearts.co.uk
We carry a good selection of Moorcroft from the earliest designs by WILLIAM MOORCROFT 1897-1945 and his son WALTER 1945-1986 and through to the pieces that have been produced in recent years and as an official retailer the most up to date and current designs.
In more recent years we discovered this wonderful Lea Stein costume jewellery from Paris which is of good quality great fun and collected worldwide. We have a large and varied collection on our website www.rumoursdecorativearts.co.uk
Over the years we have established a good, honest and reliable business built on mutual trust with both Collectors and Dealers alike.
