Smithies Bridge Jumping Course & Gallop
Description
Here at Smithies Bridge Livery we have a fantastic Jumping course & Gallop for hire on grass. With something to suit all levels it's a great place to train Smithies Bridge Livery offers a great opportunity for anyone to hire our full set of Working Hunter fences on grass. Along with some solid XC fences its a great place to train young horses, prepare for a competition or just have some fun with friends.
The fences can be altered to any height so suitable for all...from tiny tots to open workers.
We have a 1 mile grass gallop that runs by the side of the beautiful River Ribble. Good for getting horses fit or just a peaceful stroll & dip in the river.
Prices:
Workers Fences - £15 per horse/per hour
Gallops - £15 per horse/per hour
Both - £20 per horse/up to 1 1/2 hrs

Well this weather is truly depressing! We hope you are not getting too wet & are still enjoying getting out & about with your trusty steeds. As soon as the jumping field & gallops dry up we will reopen & let you all know straight away. We had a great jumping clinic with Kath Pinington yesterday on the arena. Saw some lovely horse/rider combinations and everyone looked to be enjoying themselves. After the success of our last clinic with Kath we are holding another on Thursday 10th August at Smithies Bridge. Kath has a calm & clear approach to riding with vast knowledge and experience in training. The clinic will be held in our grass paddock with solid & WH fences including a ditch, water trays, bullfinch & much more. Perfect for those wanting to get a young horse out and about or the more experienced needing competition practise. Kath will really get the best out of you & your horse. We will hold the clinic through the afternoon into the evening to cater for everyone. Small groups of 3-4 of similar ability. Prices from £20-£30 per horse/rider depending on group size. Unfortunately with the amount of rain we have had over the past 2 days we are having to close the WH course and gallops for a few days with the hope it will dry up very soon 🤞. We will keep you all updated as soon as we reopen. Thank you for your understanding 😊❤️
