Area 51 Recording Studios is the home of Weston Foster Productions, we specialise in the musical development, production and recording of new and emerging music artists encompassing multiple genres. Once in a while an artist/producer comes along who can contribute something viable to all genres of music. Weston Foster is such an artist, with over 34 years experience within the music industry, starting back in 1979 as a lead singer / programmer / drummer with Jazz Funk/Soul band Second Image.

After signing with two major record labels (Polydor & MCA), Weston, now an accomplished producer & singer/songwriter continued to work with top artists such as Womack & Womack, Maze, Jimmy Ruffin, Bobby Womack, Joe Sample, Matt Bianco, The Jam, Randy Crawford, Sister Sledge, Shalamar and the Cuban Ballet Revolución, as well as still being utilised as a musical director and vocally for various session work around the globe. You will also hear Weston’s voice & productions on TV & radio commercials as well as on tracks from pop artists such as the Pet Shop Boys, Supergrass, Joey Negro, The Groove Association and Heather Small.

WF Productions is a project very close to Weston's heart, so much so that he has now relocated his studio to a much larger premises, with his first client at the new and improved AREA 51 - Studios being The top ten Soul/Jazz Funk outfit Groove Association.  After already recording two singles with WF Productions, the Groove Association have been so impressed with the sound quality and overall set up, they have decided to record their entire album at Area 51 Studios (Produced by Weston Foster). The album is due out at the end of the year.

But make no mistake, from Soul, Jazz Funk, House, Garage, Dub step, Rap, Hip Hop to Rock and Country, WF Productions does it all. Based at Area 51 Studios in the beautiful village of Sawbridgeworth in leafy Hertfordshire. As well as a lovely sized acoustically sound control room, it also comes with a large live room, chill out room & shower facilities (first floor). And a sizable Lounge area complete with kitchen and bathroom facilities (Ground floor).
