Est. in 1976, Morton's Tyre Service specialise in supply/fitting tyres and car parts. We also sell a range of hardware, paint, garden tools and much more.. Morton prides himself on his quality customer service, low prices and old fashioned values and is credited by the return custom of 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation customers. Morton has been serving the local community of Sanquhar and Kirkconnel/Kelloholm for nearly 40 years but also has customers from New Cumnock, Cumnock, Thornhill and the occasional motorist passing through. Morton wishes to thank all customers, including local farmers and businesses who have supported him with their loyal custom for nearly 40 years.

Thanks to everyone who attended my retirement party yesterday and thanks for all the fantastic gifts. I'm truly humbled. I won't be a stranger, I will try to keep in contact with as many of you as possible. Special thanks to Jim Wight and Jim Philips for presenting me with my 3rd Dan and to all the karate guys who were in on it. All in all it was a fantastic night and I hope everyone else had a great time too.
Remember folks, don't forget to come down tomorrow for the big closing down sale. All stock must go, so come down and grab a bargain! Sale starts at 9.30am.

Next Saturday 2nd April we will be having a SURPRISE RETIREMENT PARTY for Morton in the Miner's Memorial Hall, Kelloholm. The party is 7.30pm for 8pm. All customers and friends of Morton are welcome to attend. Anybody who hasn't already got an invite and would like to go please SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE TO THIS PAGE and let us know. (Don't worry he won't see this!) Remember this is a surprise. Morton knows nothing about this and we would appreciate if no-one mentions it to him. ***CLOSING DOWN SALE - FRIDAY 1ST APRIL*** We are having a closing down sale on Friday 1st April. Morton will be working up until Thursday 31st March but is planning on opening on Friday 1st April to sell off any remaining stock. UP TO 50% OFF! EVERYTHING MUST GO! Customers please note that all orders (tyres and parts) must be placed by Wednesday 30th March and must be collected by Thursday 31st March. Thank you all for your loyal custom.
After 40 years in business, Morton has decided to retire in March this year. He will work till the end of March before hanging up his overalls for good. Morton would like to thank everyone for their continued custom throughout the years and looks forward to seeing you in his last few months in business.
